   14.08.2001 - e*Message Deutschland GmbH recently commissioned a comparative study of paging, mobile phone communication and digital radio services. Professor Bernhard Walke has now published the results and concludes: “Paging has indisputable assets compared with all other forms of wireless communication, including mobile phones, satellite radio and wireless connections to terrestrial networks.”


14.06.2001 - European Paging Operators Strengthen Cooperation

14.06.2001 - Representatives of several European paging network operators met on April 20 at e*Messages European headquarters in Berlin to discuss the future of messaging in Europe. Participants in the conference, titled “Euromessage for professionals”, included CallMax (Netherlands), Swissphone (Switzerland), TIM (Italy) and e*Message (Germany and France).

14.03.2001 - A record number of people participated in a poll that was started at the end of 2000 as a follow-up to the successful relaunch of the e*Skyper pager, the new stock market information tool. INFO GmbH, an independent polling company, was commissioned by e*Message to conduct the survey, and presented the results in Berlin in early February this year.

14.10.2001 - e*Message Granted Mobile Telecom Licence

14.10.2001 - The German Telecom and Post Regulating Agency (Reg TP) has just granted a Class 1 mobile telecom licence1 to e*Message Deutschland. The licence is valid for at least twelve years on the 460 MHz band. e*Message is now the first and only company in the German capital to be granted a mobile telecom licence.

   17.09.2001 - Trafficmaster, the world’s leading provider of real-time traffic information, has signed a long-term agreement with e*Message Wireless Information Services Deutschland GmbH. Digital information will be delivered to German motorists over e*Message’s paging network.
